The Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony between Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and HELLA Vietnam Co. Ltd. was held on 21 October 2014 at the main campus of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

Hella Vietnam, which is a branch of Hella Germany, has invested in Vietnam in late 2013 and owned by Hella - Germany, available in 35 countries. Hella specializes in providing equipment and accessories for the automotive industry, programming services for automotive electrical system.

Attending the signing ceremony, from HELLA Vietnam, the delegation was led by Mr. Timo Michail Krokowski- Managing Director of the Company. From HCMUT, there was also the participation of Prof. Mai Thanh Phong - Vice Rector, along with the representatives from the Faculty of Electrical – Electronic Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Office of Student Services and Career Center, and Office of Student Activities. The contents of the memorandum of understanding between the two parties mainly revolves around various kinds of activities for students, such as internships, scholarships, recruitment, specialized seminars. This is an event which marked the development of the relationship between the University and industry, in this case HELLA Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology; promising to achieve good results.
