Signing the Agreement for the Twinning Programme between HCMUT and Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan

October 12th: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Thanh Phong - Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Prof. Nobuhiko Azuma - Rector of Nagaoka University of Technology signed an agreement for the joint twinning program. This is an important event to promote the highly qualitied human resource training opportunities for both institutions.

The signing ceremony between HCMUT and Nagaoka University of Technology took place at Room 205A1

Previously, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement for the undergraduate collaborative program in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (Advanced Program), Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The two sides also officially added the program of Computer Science in Computer Science and Engineering to the cooperation framework. This signing ceremony is a milestone to confirm the productive cooperation between the two universities in the field of education and training of high quality human resources for both Vietnam and Japan. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for both sides to promote intensive cooperation in many fields.

It is known that the cooperation linkage between universities - research institutes - industry are always concerned and determined by the University as one of the strategic solutions for the long-term development, to complete training and research mission to meet the needs of socio-economic development in line with the trend of international integration. In particular, the University has signed and implemented many joint projects with a lot of Japanese universities, research institutes and prestigious enterprises in recent years.

General information about Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT):
